LOCATION: 2400 block of N. Oceanview Drive, San Antonio Heights
SUSPECT(S): Edgar Morales, 38 years-of-age, resident of San Antonio Heights

SUMMARY: On Saturday, November 1, 2025, at approximately 02:29 a.m., Deputy Gomez from the Fontana Sheriff's Station responded to a call for service at the Upland Police Department regarding a female with significant injures to her face. Gomez drove to the Upland Police Station and spoke to the female victim. He discovered she was beaten by her husband, Edgar Morales, threatened with a pistol and held against her will at her home.
The victim was able to flee from Morales and drove to the Upland Police department for help. She requested assistance with a welfare check on her four young children left at her home with Morales. The victim also told Gomez, Morales had additional firearms and was violent with her and her children.
Gomez requested assistance from additional deputies from the Fontana Station and formulated a plan to locate Morales and the four small children. Deputies drove to the location of the incident and safely removed the children. They conducted a search of the residence for Morales, but he was not located inside. Gomez utilized various Sheriff's databases and identified the location of Morales and the rental vehicle he was driving.
Morales was located in the city of Fontana where a high risk traffic stop was conducted and taken into custody without incident. Several firearms and a large amount of ammunition was located at Morales' residence and taken for safe keeping.
