ROAD WORK NOTICE – MILLING & PAVING SCHEDULE / ELECTION DAY INFORMATION

Milling, paving, and infrastructure work will continue on the streets listed below through Friday, November 7, 2025, between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM (weather permitting).

A second crew will also be working in town tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Please use caution when traveling through work zones and follow the directions of officers on scene.

Please do not call the Police Department regarding the daily work schedule, as it is subject to change based on weather conditions and contractor workload. The Police Department does not have the day-to-day schedule.

Parking restrictions will be strictly enforced. Vehicles parked in violation of posted “No Parking” signs will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.

Gas, Water, and Department of Public Works crews will be on-site prior to milling and paving to complete necessary infrastructure repairs. River Edge Police Officers will be on-site to assist with traffic control. Residents are advised to allow extra travel time when entering or exiting driveways.

• North Drive (Entire)

• June Court (Entire)

• Magnolia Avenue (Entire)

• Millbrook Road (Wales Avenue to Continental Avenue)

• Oak Avenue (Webb Avenue to Wales Avenue)

• Summit Avenue (Midland Avenue to Webb Avenue)

• Demarest Place (Entire)

• Center Avenue (River Edge Road to Tenney Avenue)

Election Day Reminder:
Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, is Election Day. Roosevelt School will be open to voters during normal polling hours. The polling location will be free and accessible in accordance with the law.

Please enter from Continental Avenue to Summit Avenue due to milling on the north end of Summit Avenue.
