OPD and the FBI are seeking the public's help in identifying two individuals

The Oakland Police Department (OPD) and the FBI are seeking the public's help in identifying two individuals, depicted in the attached images and video, who are believed to be responsible for the theft of items belonging to an Oakland museum. The burglary occurred just before 3:30 AM on October 15th, 2025, at the Oakland Museum of California's storage facility.

The two individuals were captured on surveillance video and are described as:

Suspect 1: Unknown male, thin build, wearing a black beanie, white face mask, plaid long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.

Suspect 2: Unknown suspect, heavy build, wearing a blue hoodie with white letters on the front of the chest, blue pants, white shoes with black detailing, and black gloves.

Investigators are asking anyone with information that may assist in identifying the individuals or recovering the stolen artifacts to contact OPD's burglary section at 510-238-3951 or submit a tip to the FBI at tips.fbi.gov or 1800-CALL-FBI (225-5324). Tips may remain anonymous.

The FBI art crime team continues to work closely with the Oakland Police Department and the Oakland Museum of California as part of this ongoing investigation.
