On October 28th, 2025, the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office participated alongside other presenters at the College and Career Fair hosted by Calaveras High School. The event featured a range of job classifications, including entry-level positions and other roles tailored to individuals interested in pursuing careers with the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office.
 
Sheriff Paid Intern: The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Intern Program offers young adults a rewarding hands-on learning experience in all divisions within the Sheriff’s Office. Interns serve alongside experienced law enforcement staff and receive a valuable introduction to a career in law enforcement.
 
Correctional Technician: Correctional Technicians are vital and versatile members of our team, responsible for operating the Jail’s Main Control and Lobby and performing a range of clerical duties and related tasks.
Correctional Officer: Under supervision, maintains care and custody of inmates, security, and order on and off the property of the Calaveras County Jail; do related work as required; or conduct other duties as assigned by the Sheriff or her designee.  The Jail Training Program provides all necessary equipment and training, including Correctional Officer CORE Academy and PC832 Course Attendance.
