SUMMARY:
On Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11:20 pm, deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s station responded to the 27500 block of Silver Lakes Parkway in Helendale following a report of a threat involving a knife.
The reporting party told dispatch that his son had stabbed his vehicle and fled the scene on foot. Investigation revealed the male juvenile had returned home under the influence of alcohol. When confronted about his behavior, the juvenile brandished a knife and attempted to stab the victim through a metal security door. He then jumped on the victim’s vehicle, shattering the front window, stabbing all four tires, and causing similar damage to the victim’s Chevy truck.
The suspect fled before deputies arrived. The investigation is ongoing.
