V.C. 2800.1(A) – Evading a Peace Officer
LOCATION: D Street / Stoddard Wells Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Rafael Ramirez, 37-year-old Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Monday, November 3, 2025, at approximately 8:39 p.m., Deputy G. Palacios from the Victorville Station initiated a traffic stop on a 2017 Ford F-150 after the driver failed to stop at a red light.
The driver, Rafael Ramirez, failed to yield and a vehicle pursuit ensued. The pursuit concluded when Ramirez stopped in the parking lot of Global Credit Union, located near Apple Valley Road and Kamana Drive in Apple Valley. After stopping, Ramirez exited the vehicle and was detained. Deputies determined Ramirez drove under the influence and was also on active probation for DUI.
Rafael Ramirez was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, for V.C. 23152(A) – Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, V.C. 2800.1(A) – Evading a Peace Officer
