Ten Arrested or Cited at Simi Valley DUI Checkpoint
Simi Valley, Calif. – On November 1, 2025, One driver was arrested for DUI at a DUI checkpoint on November 1, 2025.
The DUI checkpoint was held at Madera Road and Strathearn Place from 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Five drivers were cited for operating a vehicle unlicensed or with a suspended/revoked license, two people were arrested for driving on a suspended license for a prior DUI offense and having other outstanding warrants for their arrest. A total of 804 vehicles were contacted during the checkpoint.
DUI checkpoint locations are determined based on reported incidents of impaired driving-related crashes and impaired driving arrests. The primary purpose of DUI checkpoints is to promote public safety by taking suspected impaired drivers off roads.
