Sex Offender Release Notification 
This notice is to inform the public that Derek Tabbert, a registered sex offender, will be released on November 11th, 2025, according to the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, and will be residing at 115 Madison Street in Janesville, Wisconsin. This notification aims to ensure safe neighborhoods by informing the public of this release.
Derek Tabbert was convicted of First-Degree and Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child in 2002. Conditions of his supervision include no unsupervised contact with minors, face-to-face contact with law enforcement required, not to consume drugs, compliance with standard sex offender rules, cooperating with electronic monitoring, and lifetime registrant with the Wisconsin Sex Offender registry.
We encourage community members to be aware of their surroundings and report suspicious activities to law enforcement. We understand that the presence of a registered sex offender in the community can raise concerns.
