1. Robbery Arrest (1650) 2300 Block of South Airport Way, Park District
The male victim, 59, was making a purchase inside an area business when the three suspects stole his property and fled. The victim chased the suspects into the parking lot and was assaulted by them. Officers located one of the suspects nearby and arrested him without incident. The victim sustained minor injuries and declined medical attention. ARRESTED: A male juvenile, 14, for robbery charges. SUSPECTS: Two male juveniles.
2. Weapons Arrest (1905) Richland Way and Amherst Drive, Lakeview District
Officers conducted a proactive traffic enforcement stop in the area and subsequently searched the vehicle. A firearm was located during that search, and the driver was arrested. ARRESTED: Andy Ford, 21, for weapon-related charges.
3. Robbery (1910) Aurora Street and Weber Avenue, Civic District
The female victim, 49, was in the area when the suspect approached and took property from her before fleeing the area. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
4. Burglary Arrest (2249) 700 Block of West Hammer Lane, Lakeview District
The two suspects broke into a closed area business and stole merchandise. Officers responded, arrested both suspects, and recovered the stolen merchandise. ARRESTED: John Lumibao, 35, and Odet Avila, 60, for burglary charges.
