Fort Branch man arrested on Meth charge.

On November 5, 2025, at 10:26 p.m. Deputies Michael Bates and Eric Powell began a drug investigation in the Fort Branch area.  During the investigation a traffic stop was conducted in the parking lot of Sandy’s Pizza located in the 600 block of South Main on a Black 2000 Chevy Silverado.  The driver of the vehicle 50-year-old William Luke Myers was taken into custody after a brief investigation where Methamphetamines and two firearms were discovered.  Deputies transported Mr. Myers to the Gibson County Detention Center where he was charged with Possession of Methamphetamines with a Firearm.
 
Assisting Deputy Bates and Powell in their investigation were Deputies Wes Baumgart and Sgt. John Fischer.  Also assisting in this investigation was Owensville Officer Steven Parker.
 
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
