Officers responded to a residence in the listed area to contact the suspect regarding a domestic violence investigation. Officers located a loaded firearm and arrested the suspect. ARRESTED: Kimberly Brooks, 40, for battery and weapon charges.
2. Weapon Arrest (0047) 400 Block of East Martin Luther King Boulevard, Seaport District
Officers responded to an area business on the report of a subject who brandished a firearm. Officers detained the suspect and located a loaded firearm on his person. While the suspect was being placed into a patrol vehicle, he kicked an officer. ARRESTED: Ruben Hernandez, 26, for battery on an officer and weapon charges.
