INCIDENT: Inmate Escape
LOCATION: Victor Valley Hospital, 15248 11th Street, Victorville, CA
SUSPECT(S): Ruby Brown, 29-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, November 6, 2025, at about 11:32 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Station responded to the hospital after an inmate escaped. Ruby Brown was transported by a jail deputy for medical treatment and escaped custody while being treated. Deputies searched the area and located Brown at a bus station. She was taken back into custody and will be facing an escape charge.
Brown was originally arrested on November 1, 2025, in Needles, on drug charges and was booked at the High Desert Detention Center.
