Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help in locating Aaliecyah Cooper, 24, wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting that occurred on Friday, September 19, 2025.
At approximately 10:44 p.m., Police responded to Birks Place near Nye Avenue on a call of shots fired. Responding Officers did not locate any victims, but observed spent shell casings at the location of the firearm discharge.
Detectives investigating this incident seek Aaliecyah Cooper for questioning. She is described as 5’11” tall and 240 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
