Rt. 206 northbound lane closures beginning Monday for priority gas main work in Byram 
Route 206 northbound lane closures beginning Monday for priority gas main work in Byram, Sussex County Waterloo Road to Route 206 northbound to be detoured overnight
(Trenton) – The right lane on Route 206 northbound is scheduled to be closed for several weeks beginning Monday at Brookwood Road for priority gas main installation in Byram, Sussex County. In addition, the left lane on Route 206 northbound will be closed with traffic shifted onto the southbound side of the road overnight.
In addition, beginning at 8 p.m. Monday, November 10 until 5 a.m. Tuesday, November 11 and continuing Monday through Saturday nights until Monday, December 1, the left lane on Route 206 northbound is scheduled to be closed at Brookwood Road with traffic shifted onto Rotue 206 southbound. One lane will be maintained in each direction overnight.
The closures are necessary for priority gas main installation. Motorists are advised to slow down, use caution, and expect delays when traveling through the work zone.
Waterloo Road/CR 604 to Route 206 northbound Detour:

In addition, the left lane on Route 206 northbound will be closed with traffic shifted onto the southbound side of the road overnight.
Route 206 Lane Closures
Beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, November 10 until 9 a.m. Monday, December 1, the right lane on Route 206 northbound is scheduled to be closed at Brookwood Road (mile post 99.35) near the shopping center. Access to the shopping center will be maintained during construction.In addition, beginning at 8 p.m. Monday, November 10 until 5 a.m. Tuesday, November 11 and continuing Monday through Saturday nights until Monday, December 1, the left lane on Route 206 northbound is scheduled to be closed at Brookwood Road with traffic shifted onto Rotue 206 southbound. One lane will be maintained in each direction overnight.

Waterloo Road to Route 206 Detour
Beginning at 8 p.m. Monday, November 10 until 5 a.m. Tuesday, November 11 and continuing Monday through Saturday nights until Monday, December 1, traffic on Waterloo Road/CR 604 wishing to turn left onto Route 206 northbound will be detoured. The following detour will be in place:Waterloo Road/CR 604 to Route 206 northbound Detour:
- Motorists on Waterloo Road/CR 604 wishing to turn left onto Route 206 northbound will be directed to turn right onto Route 206 southbound
- Stay left to take the ramp to Route 183 southbound/Stanhope/Netcong
- Go past the Dell Road intersection and take the jughandle for U and Left Turns
- Turn left onto Route 183 northbound
- Stay left to continue on Route 206 northbound
