Traffic Collision – Fatality 
Santa Maria, Calif. – On Sunday, November 9, 2025, at approximately 10:58 a.m., the Santa Maria Police Department, along with the Santa Maria Fire Department and American Medical Response (AMR), responded to a traffic collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle in the 600 block of East Boone Street.
Upon arrival, officers located the motorcyclist lying in the roadway. Emergency personnel immediately began life-saving measures. The rider was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment; however, he succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased has been identified as a 30-year-old male from Santa Maria. His identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The Santa Maria Police Department Traffic Unit responded to the scene and is conducting a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
