The juvenile was subsequently cited for petty theft and for driving with a blood alcohol concentration between .01% and .05%. He was released to his parents on a notice to appear in court.
The Petaluma Police Department would like to remind the public that individuals under 21 years of age are prohibited from driving with any measurable amount of alcohol in their system. A conviction may result in a one-year driver’s license suspension.
