DETAILS: On Sunday November 9, 2025, at 2:04pm, Officers were called to an accident at I40/Coulter in the parking lot of Outback Steakhouse. A Dodge Challenger, being driven by Roger Howery, male age 73, exited I40 traveling eastbound. His vehicle struck the stop sign at Waldorf and then struck a truck causing it to flip onto a Tahoe and then strike another vehicle. Mr. Howery was believed to have suffered some kind of medical incident, and he died at the scene. The other vehicles were all unoccupied. JP Horn has ordered an autopsy. This case is being investigated by the Traffic Investigation Unit.
