SUSPECT(S): Francisco Rodriguez, 55 year-old, resident of Hesperia
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Sunday, November 9, 2025, at approximately 11:51 p.m., Deputy G. Vasquez from the Central Station conducted a traffic stop in the City of San Bernardino and contacted Francisco Rodriguez.
During the stop, Rodriguez had an open container of liquor on the passenger seat floorboard. Under suspicion of being impaired while operating a motor vehicle, Deputy Vasquez asked Rodriguez to exit his vehicle. As Rodriguez was exiting his vehicle, Vasquez observed a loaded 9mm handgun on the driver's side seat. A subsequent search of Rodriguez's person was conducted, and Vasquez located a small bag containing suspected crystal methamphetamine in Rodriguez's pant's pocket.
A records check revealed Rodriguez is a convicted felon. Rodriguez was arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center for PC29800(A)(1) - felon in possession of a firearm, PC30305(A)((1) - felon in possession of ammunition, and HS11370.1(A) - possession of a controlled substance and a loaded firearm.
