1. Resisting Arrest (1442) 2100 Block of Carmen Court, Park District
Officers attempted to arrest the suspect for his outstanding warrant. The suspect pulled away from the officers and fled on foot. An officer deployed his taser to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Omer Espinoza, 23, for his outstanding warrant.
2. Robbery Arrest (1750) 5300 Block of Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District
The female victim was working at a local business when she confronted the suspect for shoplifting. The suspect made threats to harm the victim, causing her to back away from him. Responding, officers found the suspect in the parking lot and tried to take him into custody. The suspect fled and was taken to the ground and into custody. ARRESTED: a fourteen-year-old male for robbery and resisting arrest.
