Area roadways are extremely slick, most secondary roads have not been treated. Numerous accidents have happened across Buncombe County this evening. Conditions can deteriorate rapidly. Avoid travel if at all possible. If you do, reduce speed, allow extra time and be prepared with items like water and blankets. Be prepared for debris in roadways and possibly power lines. Lines and tree down 300 Blk Rock Creek Rd has been reported to Duke. Road partially open but icy.
