Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr. requests the public’s help identifying the two individuals pictured below in connection with a shooting that occurred on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
At approximately 2:33 a.m., the shot spotter detection system picked up gunfire in the 100 block of Warwick Street and the 200 block of New York Avenue. Police located one 9mm shell casing on Warwick Street and one 9mm shell casing in the 50 block of Pulaski Street.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on the individual’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
