EVACUATION WARNING FOR PROPERTIES NORTH OF GRAND VIEW AVENUE. KEEP STREETS CLEAR FOR EMERGENCY VEHICLES

LOS ANGELES COUNTY ISSUES PHASE 1 AND PHASE 2 FORECASTS FOR THE EATON FIRE BURN SCAR
The City is actively monitoring storm conditions through the National Weather Service and regional partners. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Works has issued a Phase 1 Debris and Mudflow Potential Forecast for the Eaton Fire burn scar. Phase 1 will be in effect from 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, through 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14.

A Phase 1 alert indicates a moderate to heavy risk of debris flow or flash flooding in the following areas:
Auburn Avenue, Baldwin Court, Brookside Lane, East Mira Monte Avenue, Idlehour Lane, Mount Wilson Trail Road, North Michillinda Avenue, North Sunnyside Avenue, Oakdale Drive, North Santa Anita Avenue, Skyland Drive, Stonehouse Road, Vista Avenue, and Woodland Drive.

Los Angeles County Public Works has also indicated that a Phase 2 alert will take effect on Friday, November 14, at 8:00 p.m. When Phase 2 goes into effect, the existing Evacuation Warning is expected to transition to an Evacuation Order.
A Phase 2 alert indicates that debris and mudflows may occur at more widespread locations. Streets may be blocked by debris, and structures may be at risk depending on terrain and storm intensity.

EVACUATION WARNING FOR PROPERTIES NORTH OF GRAND VIEW AVENUE
Evacuation Warnings remain in place for properties in the canyon areas and for all properties north of East Grand View Avenue and West Grand View Avenue. These areas remain at risk of mud and debris flows.

Individuals who require additional time to evacuate should consider leaving now. This includes older adults, families with young children, residents with access or functional needs, and anyone evacuating with pets.

Residents must fill their own bags; a shovel is recommended.

STAY CONNECTED AND PREPARE
