Downtown Christmas Tree Installation TODAY 
Tonkawa Public Works crews will be transporting and installing the new downtown Christmas tree today. They look to begin the operation at approximately 8:30 AM this morning. It is unknown how long it will take to install the tree, however, they aim to be completed by this afternoon. Crews will transport the Christmas tree on South Public Street to E. Grand Ave. They will travel west on E. Grand Ave. to install the tree at the 7th Street and E. Grand Ave. intersection. Please detour the area as to not congest traffic around the work crews. Several road closures will occur during the transportation process. Please use caution when driving around workers or transportation vehicles. Thank you for your cooperation while we get Tonkawa in the Christmas spirit!

Please detour the areas of S. Public and/or Grand from 7th Street to Public Street to allow crews to transport and install the downtown Christmas Tree.
