* WHAT...Mixed precipitation. Additional snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches expected. Rain falling on frozen surfaces may create icy conditions.
* WHERE...East Turnagain Arm.
* WHEN...Until 1 PM AKST this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Intense snowfall rates of 1 inch an hour are expected this morning. Warm easterly wind may cause precipitation to mix with rain along Turnagain Arm, but Girdwood, especially farther north into the valley, should remain cold enough for snow. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.
* AFFECTED AREAS: EAST TURNAGAIN ARM
