Winter Weather Advisory until 12:00PM Tuesday

Rain will begin to move into the area this evening before transitioning to a rain/snow mix overnight. Precipitation will likely be mostly snow by daybreak and rates of 0.5 inches/hr could lead to accumulating snow on less traveled roadways and elevated surfaces. This wintry mix/snow will likely impact the morning commute so be sure to give yourself some extra time should conditions begin to deteriorate.

* WHAT...Wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 1 and 4 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Minnesota and central and west central Wisconsin.
