Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., announces that the following streets will experience intermittent street closures during the hours designated below due to a film production on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
 
Beginning from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Wednesday, November 19th (Intermittent Closures)
 
• Rector Street between Park Place and Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Blvd.
.• Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Blvd. between Central Avenue and New Street
• Park Place between Rector Street and Central Avenue/Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Blvd. and Rector Street
• Center Street between Rector Street and Park Place

Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and plan alternate routes.
 
Director Miranda thanks you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this event. He also urges anyone with information regarding criminal activities to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).  All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
