Wilmington Police arrest two men in connection to burglary incident:
Wilmington Police have arrested two men in connection to a burglary incident following an investigation.
On October 19, at approximately 5:29 a.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 2200 block of North Market Street in reference to a burglary incident. The case was assigned to Detective Johnnie Everett of the Criminal Investigations Division. Through the course of his investigation, Detective Everett identified 57-year-old Rudolph Reams and 53-year-old Michael Monroe as suspects and obtained warrants for their arrest. On October 30, members of the Uniformed Services Division took Reams into custody without incident. On November 12, members of the Uniformed Services Division took Monroe into custody without incident.
Reams has been charged with the following offenses:
- Burglary (Third Degree)
- Possession of Burglar Tools
- Theft Under $1,500
- Criminal Mischief Over $1,000
Monroe has been charged with the following offenses:
- Burglary (Third Degree)
- Possession of Burglar Tools
- Theft Under $1,500
- Criminal Mischief Over $1,000
