The change in the closure window is due to unexpected delays with the contractor and work site conditions.
As part of the Offsite Water Tank Improvement Project, a complete one-hour road closure (except for emergency vehicles) will take place at Fletcher Bay Road and Pitcairn between a window of time of10AM-12PM. for one-hour on Tuesday, November 18.
During this time, vehicles will not be able to enter or exit the Fletcher Bay neighborhood. Please plan travel accordingly.
Flagging will occur during work hours through November 21 as work finishes up.
These improvements support the City’s efforts to strengthen the Winslow Water System, enhancing reliability, water quality, and fire flow ahead of bringing the new 2-million-gallon, seismically resilient Winslow Water Tank online in early 2026.
