Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection to a burglary in progress.
On November 16, at approximately 8:07 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 2100 block of North Madison Street in reference to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers obtained a description of the suspect and provided that description to other units in the area. A short time later, officers observed a male matching that description in the 200 block of Concord Avenue. Police made contact with 43-year-old Michael Gross and took him into custody without incident.
Gross has been charged with the following offenses:
- Burglary (Third Degree)
- Criminal Impersonation
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released on $4,000 unsecured bail.
