Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., reports that police have arrested 16 individuals during the October 2025 fugitive roundup targeting individuals with outstanding warrants for various criminal incidents.
“Out of the 16 individuals arrested last month, half were wanted for aggravated assault, 10 were wanted for illegal possession of a firearm, three were wanted for robbery, and one was wanted for a carjacking,” Director Miranda said. “Our goal is to remove violent fugitives from our streets before they wreak even more havoc.
