Pock Charged with Meth Possession 
Lieutenant David Jones with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 50-year-old Jamie Lee Pock of Marion with felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Misdemeanor Resisting a Public Officer. He was given a secured bond of $12,000.
On Tuesday, November 11, Lt. Jones executed a vehicle stop in the North Cove area for a traffic violation. Pock was the driver and found to be operating the vehicle without a license.
A subsequent search of his person turned up suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
The N.C. State Highway Patrol assisted in the incident.
