Rotary Club of Fairfield-Suisun and ACE Hardware Team Up to Bring a Hap-PIE Thanksgiving to 50 PAL Families

The Rotary Club of Fairfield-Suisun and ACE Hardware of Suisun are spreading a little extra sweetness—and generosity—this Thanksgiving with a partnership that’s as heartwarming as it is delicious! Together, they’re helping make the holiday season brighter for local families by adding gourmet handmade pies and a $50 gift card to the November food boxes distributed through the Fairfield PAL Food Pantry, ensuring 50 PAL families enjoy a truly Hap-PIE Thanksgiving!

The featured pies, handcrafted by The PIE Company, are made with premium ingredients and a generous dash of love. Each buttery crust and rich, flavorful filling celebrates the spirit of homemade tradition, giving families something special to bake, serve, and share around their own tables. The same irresistible pies are also available for purchase at ACE Hardware in Suisun, making it easy for community members to take home a treat while supporting a great cause.

In addition to the pies, each PAL family will receive a $50 gift card, courtesy of the Rotary Club of Fairfield-Suisun. The cards are intended to help families purchase the final touches for their Thanksgiving or family meals—allowing them to choose items that reflect their unique traditions, dietary needs, and family tastes. This thoughtful addition ensures each family’s meal is not only complete, but also personal and meaningful.

“Thanksgiving is about more than a meal—it is a celebration of gratitude, connection, and community,” said Joan Lovell of the Rotary Club of Fairfield-Suisun. “These pies represent more than dessert; they serve as a reminder to the teens at Fairfield PAL that they are an essential ingredient in what makes our community strong and thriving.”

This flavorful partnership is part of the Fairfield-Suisun Rotary’s ongoing commitment to youth development, family connection, and community service. For years, the Rotary Club of Fairfield-Suisun has invested time and resources in programs that help Fairfield PAL empower local teens through leadership, life-skills training, and community engagement. By adding something as simple, and as meaningful, as a pie and gift card to a family’s Thanksgiving meal, Rotary members are helping create moments of comfort, gratitude, and togetherness that last far beyond the holiday.

The Fairfield PAL Food Pantry, made possible through the Food Bank of Solano County, serves local students and their families year-round. The pantry offers a “Stop & Shop” experience on Mondays and Tuesdays from 5–7 p.m., featuring taste tests, personal shoppers, and cooking demonstrations that make healthy eating fun, accessible, and educational for local teens.
