* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Crockett, Schleicher and Sutton.
* WHEN...Until 630 AM CST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 317 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Eldorado, I-10 Near The Crockett-Sutton County Line, The Intersection Of Us-190 And Ranch Road 1828, The Intersection Of I-10 And Ranch Road 1989, Us-190 Near The Crockett-Sutton County Line, The Intersection Of Ranch Road 1828 And Ranch Road 915 and The Intersection Of Highway 163 And Ranch Road 1973. - This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 371 and 393. Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
