Wilmington Police have arrested a male juvenile in connection to an armed robbery following an investigation.
On November 8, at approximately 9:36 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 2300 block of Locust Street in to an armed robbery that had occurred. The case was assigned to Detective Avery Stewart of the Criminal Investigations Division. Through the course of his investigation, Detective Stewart identified a 14-year-old male juvenile has a suspect and obtained warrants for his arrest. On November 18, at approximately 4:34 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division located the 14-year-old male juvenile in the 2100 block of Locust Street, where he was taken into custody without incident.
The 14-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Robbery (First Degree)
- Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released on $21,000 cash-only bail.
