Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges.
On November 18, at approximately 12:16 p.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the area of East 9th and Kirkwood Streets when they observed a male subject engaged in drug-related activity. Officers made contact with 26-year-old Chaka Hollis, who was taken into custody without incident. Hollis was found to be in possession of 2.6 grams of crack cocaine and .78 grams of heroin.
Hollis has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver – Two Counts
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $5,000 cash-only bail.
