Madison Street between 10th and 11th Streets, and 11th Street between Madison and Monroe Streets, will remain closed until approximately 6 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 21.
No construction work will take place between 8 p.m. tonight and 8 a.m. tomorrow. The overnight closures are necessary, due to conditions related to emergency water work for the Madison Street Area Infrastructure Improvement project, which prevent the road from being safely reopened. Crews will continue their construction work in the morning, at approximately 8 a.m.
Hoboken Police will be on site into the overnight hours, to assist with traffic control and ensure public safety.
