Narrative:
On 10/31/2025, at about 11:20 P.M., deputies from the Headquarters Station responded to the 2400-block of E. Channel Islands Blvd, in the unincorporated area of Oxnard, reference a subject with a firearm threatening to shoot subjects at a party.

Upon arrival, deputies saw several subjects fleeing the area.  As deputies were searching for the suspect, they located two adult males victims suffering from gunshot wounds.  Both victims were transported via ambulance to a local hospital for medical care.  The victims were treated and are in stable condition.

During the ensuing investigation, investigators obtained evidence identifying two male juveniles as the suspects involved in the shooting. On 11/19/25, at approximately 10:30 A.M., the suspects were located in the city of Camarillo and were taken into custody without incident. Investigators with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office then conducted subsequent search warrants on the suspects’ residences and obtained additional evidence linking them to the shooting.

Suspect 1 was arrested for felony violations of Penal Codes 664/187- attempt murder, Penal Code 245(a)(2)- assault with a deadly weapon, Penal Code 182(a)(1)- conspiracy to commit a crime and Penal Code 186.22(b)- participation in a criminal street gang. Suspect 2 was arrested for felony violations of Penal Code 245(a)(2)- assault with a deadly weapon, Penal Code 182(a)(1)- conspiracy to commit a crime and Penal Code 186.22(b)- participation in a criminal street gang. Both suspects were lodged at the Ventura County Juvenile Justice Complex (JJC).
