On November 19, 2025, at 9:12 p.m. Deputy Wes Baumgart and Sgt. Loren Barchett conducted a traffic stop on Black 1998 Mercury for an equipment violation after they observed the vehicle traveling on Main Street in Fort Branch with two flat tires.  Upon approaching the vehicle, Deputies immediately detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver 42-year-old Andrea Lincoln of Fort Branch.  At that point Deputy Baumgart began a roadside DUI investigation that resulted in Ms. Lincoln being taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Detention Center.  Upon arriving at the detention center Ms. Lincoln was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.
 
County units were assisted in their investigation by Haubstadt Officer Jason Marceaux. 
 
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
