ROUTE 208 SB RAMP FROM GOFFLE RD TO CLOSE FOR 2 WEEKS
Douglas Avenue Eastbound  Full Closure for Bridge Repairs

The Hawthorne Police Department is advising residents and motorists of a New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) construction project that will impact traffic patterns in our area.

Beginning 9:00 PM on Friday, November 21st through 11:59 PM on Thursday, December 4th, Douglas Avenue eastbound, which connects Goffle Road/CR 659 northbound to Route 208 southbound, will be CLOSED for concrete repairs to the Douglas Avenue bridge deck over Goffle Brook.

A detour will be in place during this period.

DETOUR  Goffle Rd/CR 659 NB to Route 208 SB:
• Continue on Goffle Road/CR 659 northbound
• Take the next ramp for Route 208 northbound
• Take the ramp for Goffle Road / Hawthorne / Paterson
• Proceed under Route 208 and make the first right onto the ramp for Route 208 southbound

This work is part of a state-funded infrastructure repair project affecting multiple counties, including Passaic.

Please expect delays and plan alternate routes if possible.
