Newark Mayor Ras J. Baraka, Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., Assistant Public Safety Director Steven Anderson, Chief of Police Sharonda Morris, and Chief of Fire Del Ortiz will host a free Thanksgiving turkey giveaway in front of Newark Public Safety Headquarters, 480 Clinton Avenue, at 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Tickets will be distributed at the event. Turkeys will be distributed while supplies last.
