Newark Mayor Ras J. Baraka, Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., Assistant Public Safety Director Steven Anderson, Chief of Police Sharonda Morris, and Chief of Fire Del Ortiz will host a free Thanksgiving turkey giveaway in the North Ward at the 2nd Precinct, 1 Lincoln Avenue, at 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Tickets will be distributed at the event. Turkeys will be distributed while supplies last. Please bring a shopping bag. #newarknj #publicsafety #police
