The Hoboken Division of Recreation has extended the deadline to register for winter youth programs until tomorrow, Nov. 22, at 5 p.m.
This season’s programs include instructional basketball for children in Kindergarten through Second grade, Hawks Special Needs Basketball, competitive basketball for children in Third through Eighth Grade, and wrestling for children in Kindergarten through 8th grade. A quick note for 4th grade families: during registration you’ll notice a drop-down menu where you can indicate team preference; all-boys, all-girls, or co-ed. This is only to collect feedback and understand interests, and no changes have been made to the current program at this time.
Please note, instructional basketball will be offered in two sessions. Children may only register for one session. Registration for the second session will open on Dec. 1 at 12 p.m. for Kindergarten basketball
Registration for all programs are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Programs are free for those who qualify for free or reduced lunch.
Program schedules will be announced following the close of registration.
