At 912 AM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles west of San Jon, or 13 miles east of Tucumcari, moving north at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Logan and Ute Lake State Park. This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 340 and 352.
