City of Oneonta residential brush and yard waste collection will be extended until this Wed., 11/26/25 only.  There will be no additional collection for the season. 

City residents are reminded that they may bring brush and yard waste to the disposal site on Silas Lane on weekdays between
8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. City residents must first sign in and get a key from the Central Garage office at 18 Silas Lane (use the entrance door clearly labeled “Yard Waste Disposal Sign In Here”). Residents will be directed to the drop-off location and must then lock the gate upon leaving and return the key to Central Garage. The Central Garage is closed for all holidays observed by the City of Oneonta. Only brush and yard waste conforming to the same specifications as that which is collected by City crews is allowed (see above).  No household items, trash, lumber, rocks, dirt, firewood, or foreign objects.
