Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. requests the public’s help in locating Torrain Jonelle Walker, 22, of Newark, who is wanted for questioning about a shooting that occurred on November 16, 2025.

At approximately 4:52 a.m., the ShotSpotter detection system picked up gunfire on Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard near Bloomfield Avenue. Police Officers responded and located three 9mm shell casings at that location.
