Hesperia Man Arrested on Suspicion of Numerous Thefts from Vehicles in Hesperia, Apple Valley and Chino

LOCATION: 9100 block of Espada Ave, Hesperia
SUSPECT(S): Albert Munguia, 35-year-old, resident of Hesperia
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 11:49 a.m., Hesperia deputies and detectives were conducting an investigation regarding a male adult, driving a Toyota Tacoma, who was involved in thefts from numerous vehicles.
Detectives later identified the suspect as, Albert Munguia, and found he was the person involved in the related thefts that occurred in the City of Hesperia, the Town of Apple Valley, and the City of Chino.
On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, detectives contacted Munguia, and he led deputies on a short pursuit. Munguia initially refused to exit his vehicle, but after a short time he was taken into custody.
A search warrant was served at Munguia's residence with the assistance of our Apple Valley Station detectives and Chino Police Department. Thousands of dollars in stolen items and a stolen quad were located.
Munguia was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center, where he is being held without bail.
