During the investigation, the suspect (driver) was identified as Frank Paul Rodriguez, Jr. The decedent was identified as Alana Marina Juarez, who was a passenger inside the vehicle. The other two occupants in the vehicle are juveniles, and no charges are being filed at this time.
Rodriguez was booked into the West Valley Detention Center for evading police resulting in great bodily injury and gross vehicular manslaughter. Rodriguez is being held on a $250,000 bail.

SUMMARY: On Saturday, November 22, 2025, at approximately 11:48 p.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Arden Avenue and the west 210 freeway, for a moving violation.
The vehicle failed to yield and a pursuit insued. During the pursuit, the vehicle drove at speeds in excess of 130 miles per hour, changed lanes recklessly, and attempted to evade deputies. The pursuit lasted approximately 48 miles and terminated on the east 210 Freeway offramp leading to N State Street. The vehicle lost control and all four occupants were ejected. Three occupants were transported to local hospitals for their injuries and one occupant succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
Detectives from the San Bernadino Sheriff's Department's Central Station are investigating the incident and the investigation is still ongoing.
