A Thanksgiving Message From Gloucester Township Police Chief Anthony Minosse
As we all gather to celebrate this holiday season, I would like to extend my warmest Thanksgiving wishes to every person connected with Gloucester Township. This time of year, reminds us that there are many reasons in our lives to be thankful. May your holidays be filled with happiness, connection, and many memorable moments with those who you cherish.
With so many of us traveling to see our friends or loved ones, I want to encourage you to put safety first: drive carefully, stay alert, and give yourself extra time. Your well-being is what matters most, and importantly that you arrive alive to your destinations. To those who enjoy the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping, remember to be aware of your surroundings, secure your belongings, and please lock your vehicles. A few simple precautions will help ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable travel or shopping experience.
I also must take a moment to recognize the unrelenting dedication of the finest men and women of your Gloucester Township Police Department. For many, the holiday season means time off, but let's not forget that our officers are serving around the clock with professionalism, compassion, and dedication. Rest assured, they will be out on patrol, responding to calls, assisting motorists, supporting families in crisis, and working behind the scenes to ensure all those in our great community can safely celebrate.
This time of year is also when we must remind ourselves to think of others and those who may be in need. Many may struggle with loneliness or hardship during the holiday season. A small act of kindness, a check-in with a neighbor or stranger, and even a moment of patience while driving can make all the difference in the world. We can all create together a holiday season which reflects the caring spirit that helps make Gloucester Township such a wonderful community.
Lastly, we understand that holidays may be a time of cheer while at the same time, a time of stress, and want you to know that you are never alone in any challenge. Whether you need help, have a concern, or even just feel unsure about a situation, please do not ever hesitate at any time to reach out to the Gloucester Township Police. Our officers are always here to help you at any time in any way that we can.
I am grateful for the continued trust and great partnership that our police officers share with such a supportive community. On behalf of all members of the Gloucester Township Police, I wish you a safe, joyous, and meaningful Thanksgiving holiday.
With gratitude,
Anthony Minosse
