Wilmington Police have arrested a wanted man on gun and drug charges following an investigation.

Members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division have been conducting an investigation into illegal drug sales in the 2600 block of North Thatcher Street. On November 24, at approximately 12:55 p.m., officers made contact with 50-year-old Devin Wright and took him into custody without incident. Subsequently, officers executed a search warrant in the 2600 block of North Thatcher Street, and recovered a loaded .380 caliber handgun with an obliterated serial number, 97.75 grams of Heroin, and $822 in currency.

Wright has been charged with the following offenses:

• Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited – Three Counts
• Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
• Possession of a Firearm with an Obliterated Serial Number
• Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 3 Quantity
• Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 3 Quantity
