INCIDENT: PC 21310(A) - Possession of Concealed Dirk or Dagger PC 529(A)(3) - False Impersonation of Another
LOCATION: W Broadway St. and C Street, Needles, California
SUSPECT(S): Hector Bustamante, 34-Years-Old, Resident of Buckeye, AZ
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Sunday, November 23, 2025, at approximately 1:42 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department contacted Hector Bustamante during a traffic enforcement stop near W Broadway and C Street. During a consent search of the vehicle, Bustamante was found to be in possession of an unlawful dirk/dagger. He was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking.
While completing the records and fingerprint check at the jail, deputies determined that Bustamante had provided a false name. As a result, he was additionally charged with PC 529(A)(3) - False Impersonation of Another.
Bustamante remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $60,000.
